There aren't too many must watch games this week, but there are some games worthy of your attention. A couple teams in the ACC should be on upset watch this week, #23 North Carolina takes on Miami, and #16 Florida State takes on North Carolina State. I don't see any upsets taking place though, I think North Carolina is out to prove themselves and have been disrespected in the rankings so far. Everyone wants to say that Stanford is like Ohio State in that they lost in week 1 but have made the climb up the rankings since then, but so has North Carolina. It's probably a long shot, but the Tar Heels are 8-1 and have won versus Duke, at Pittsburgh, and versus Illinois. I definitely think this team could shake things up, they will likely meet Clemson in the ACC Title game and could shock a lot of people. I think Florida State is a better team than people think and Dalvin Cook will rush for well over 100 yards. Predictions: North Carolina-38 Miami-17 and Florida State 31-NC State 23.
Alabama is coming off a dominant performance and will look to get another quality win versus Mississippi State. Alabama has had some inconsistent performances so far, dominating against Wisconsin, Georgia, and LSU, but losing at home to Ole Miss, and struggling with Tennessee and Arkansas. If they come out and play inconsistently again they might trip, it's tempting to pick the upset here, but I think Alabama is in championship mode. Prediction: Alabama 24 Miss State 20.
The biggest game of the week is definitely #12 Oklahoma at #6 Baylor, mainly because the Big 12 (and especially Baylor needs to prove themselves). Baylor has played an extremely soft schedule because their schedule is backloaded, so that isn't to say their entire schedule is soft. But Oklahoma has looked pretty good since they somehow lost to Texas. Prediction: Oklahoma 44 Baylor 35.
