Looking Ahead to CFB Week 10

The past two weeks have been fairly unexciting in terms of marquee match-ups but once we enter November, every week is exciting and important. First I'll start with the game most important to me, as Iowa travels to Indiana. This could be a very tricky game for Iowa, as Indiana has a lot of offensive fire power and have already caused trouble for the other two top ten teams in the conference. Plus Indiana is coming of a bye and need to win two of their final four to become bowl eligible, Iowa will need to be completely focused and limit mistakes to come out with a win. In the ACC, Duke takes on North Carolina in an important game for the ACC Coastal Division race, I think North Carolina will keep on rolling, prediction North Carolina 23 Duke 21. Pittsburgh looks to avoid losing two straight when they take on Notre Dame, fortunately for Pitt this game doesn't have an impact on their chances to win the ACC Coastal, although they need a couple of breaks for that to happen. Prediction Notre Dame 38 Pitt 17. In the ACC Atlantic Division the game that pretty much decides that division is between Florida State and Clemson. The Tigers have their eyes set on a playoff birth and this may be the toughest game remaining on their schedule. I predict Clemson will come out to play on their home field and take care of Florida State 34-26.

In the Big 12 Oklahoma State takes on TCU, this game is very important because both teams are undefeated both in conference and overall. I would be surprised if the two teams don't combine for over 1,000 yards combined, little defense will be played. I have said before that I think the Big 12 will implode and once again end up outside of the playoff and I think that will begin this Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Prediction Oklahoma State 48 TCU 45. Then in the biggest match-up this week LSU travels to Alabama, this is one of the most important games for deciding the SEC West and who gets into the playoff. I think Leonard Fournette has a big game and LSU gets it done 20-14.
